What challenges do institutions and clients face when appointing diverse arbitrators? What steps can aspiring diverse arbitrators take to improve their chances of being appointed? How far are we from achieving diversity in arbitrator appointments?

Join the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Young Members Group and NYIAC for a panel event exploring international commercial arbitration and investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), the benefits of diversity in arbitrator appointments in respect of each, and the extent to which it can be achieved in practice. The event, which will be of interest to aspiring arbitration practitioners, those in practice and aspiring arbitrators, will provide insights from practitioners and arbitrators with experience of practice in a range of geographical locations and in different roles.
