Finding and sorting through international arbitration research can be a global maze. This page provides links to some of the most useful, free sites for international arbitration research on the Internet, beginning with sites that provide access to arbitral decisions and awards, case law and related materials, and following with well-known guidelines, protocols and model laws<\/a> for international arbitration.<\/p>\n

Awards, Case Law and Related Materials<\/h2>\n

Technology Resources for Arbitration Practitioners<\/a><\/p>\n

The International Bar Association Arb40 Subcommittee recently unveiled a new guide, Technology Resources for Arbitration Practitioners. The Guide brings together innovations in technology that can be used to assist and augment international arbitrations. The Guide summarizes eight categories of technology and their potential application to international arbitration, and lists several examples of major vendors\/service providers in each category. The Guide is available exclusively online at the IBA Arbitration Committee’s webpage and will be updated continuously over time.<\/p>\n

International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID)<\/a><\/p>\n

The ICSID website contains information about the ICSID Convention and its contracting states; pending and concluded cases; awards and procedural decisions; and other relevant materials.<\/p>\n

Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA)<\/a><\/p>\n

The PCA website contains information about pending cases, published awards and other documents.<\/p>\n

Iran-US Claims Tribunal<\/a><\/p>\n

The Iran-US Claims Tribunal website contains tribunal awards and decisions and other documents.\u00a0 The database of awards and decisions requires free registration.<\/p>\n

Investment Treaty Arbitration<\/a><\/p>\n

Access to publicly available investment treaty awards;\u00a0 information and resources relating to investment treaties and investment treaty arbitration; and links to further resources.<\/p>\n
