Program Description
In this session, counsel and quantum experts will provide an introduction to accounting documents (balance sheet, income and cash flow statements) and information (book v. market value, accounting income v. cash flow), then discussing potential causes for non-comparability (non-GAAP/non-IFRS, GAAP v. IFRS, inconsistent estimates, and internal accounting inconsistencies). A critical query will explore purposes accounting data is useful (multiples, sunk cost/NCC approaches), with key examples and a look to the future.

Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP is certified by the New York State and California State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education. In accordance with jurisdictional requirements, this program will be approved for a maximum of 1.5 NY Professional Practice (Transitional/Non-Transitional) and 1.5 CA General credit hours for newly-admitted and experienced attorneys.
