The Women’s Bar Association (WBA) of the District of Columbia Presents Creating and Providing First Opportunities for Young Practitioners and Students: A Dialogue Between Senior and Junior International Disputes Attorneys

This interactive program invites successful practitioners, young professionals, and students to engage with seasoned international attorneys to share how chance moments/opportunities and people have shaped their careers. Participants will explore how to spot and seize opportunities, how building trust opens doors, and why saying yes to unexpected chances can lead to exciting new paths. Young lawyers will be invited to describe barriers to entry they’ve encountered and identify what types of opportunities could make a difference, while experienced practitioners discuss and brainstorm ways to give back to help the next generation take their own first steps.
