The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section Presents Consumer Arbitration Clauses in the Mass Filing Era

Mass arbitration is fundamentally transforming dispute resolution processes. This program is designed for general counsel, transactional lawyers, and arbitrators who want to navigate this complex and growing trend in consumer arbitration. The panel will begin by defining mass arbitration and examining key case law developments that have shaped its trajectory. Next, the panel will examine what drives these high-volume cases, using data on current trends from the American Arbitration Association.  The core of the course will be drafting strategies to manage the process and mitigate risk when drafting dispute resolution clauses.
