The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) Presents Fee Dispute Arbitration Training: Focus on Part 137 Arbitration

This training is intended for people interested in volunteering for the Part 137 Fee Dispute program.  The 2 half-day FREE training will consist of lectures, discussions as well as MANDATORY ROLE PLAY EXERCISES, where attendees’ cameras and sound MUST be turned on.  Join us for 2 half-days of trainings to learn what you need to know to become a Part 137 Fee Dispute Arbitrator. Day 2 (October 23, 2026):

• What Do You Actually Do as a Part 137 Arbitrator?
• Pre-hearing Preparation
• Opening the Hearing, followed by Role Play 1
• Hearing the Evidence, followed by Role Play 2
• Concluding the Hearing, followed by Role Play 3
• Drafting the Decision
• Debriefing and Final Thoughts
