The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) Presents Dispute Prevention Committee Meeting
September 19 (Thursday), 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
CPR Members are invited to attend the CPR Institute Dispute Prevention Committee Meeting on September 25th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET via Zoom.
Dispute Review Boards typically are panels comprised of three individuals who are appointed at the start of a project to help the parties prevent and resolve disputes that arise during the course of a project. DRBs often are viewed as serving only a dispute resolution role–offering non-binding recommendations on how the parties can bring to closure disputes that have been elevated to claims. But, what is less well understood is the role that DRBs play in moving attention to conflicts upstream and actually preventing disputes from arising in the first place.
