
For the second event of the French Lawyers and Friends in the United States initiative, the French Embassy in DC will host a conference dedicated to strengthening dialogue and exchanges among legal professionals.
After an opening address by the Ambassador of France in the United States, Laurent Bili, the:
will deliver keynote remarks on the importance of international dialogue and networking among legal practitioners.
The conference will also be an opportunity to introduce « French Lawyers and Friends in the United States » through a panel chaired by Stephen L. Dreyfuss, Former President of the International Association of Lawyers, gathering members of the network who will share their experience of legal practice in the US and discuss their expectations for the network.
Closing remarks will be provided by the D.C Bar President, Sadina Montani, and the President of the Conseil National des Barreaux (French National Bar Association), Julie Couturier.
The conference will be followed by a networking reception attended by an important French delegation present for the Law, Justice and Development Week organized by the World Bank from November 3 to 5 (Superior Council of Notaries (CSN), National Chamber of Judicial Officers (CNCJ), National School for the Judiciary (ENM), Paris Bar Association , Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Expertise France, French Civil Law Foundation,…)
