The Economist Enterprise Presents 2nd Annual Regional Ocean Summit

The 2nd annual Regional Ocean Summit will take place in Aqaba, Jordan on September 9th-10th. It builds on the momentum of its inaugural edition to become a convening platform for ocean leadership across the Middle East, eastern Mediterranean and Red Sea regions.

Positioned at the junction of regional co-operation, climate stress and economic transformation, the summit will focus on how coastal and maritime nations can strengthen ocean resilience while unlocking sustainable growth. As pressures intensify—from warming seas and water scarcity to trade uncertainty, energy insecurity, geopolitical tensions and tourism challenges—the region’s leaders aim to reframe risks as opportunities to drive innovation, investment and sustainable growth.
