The Center for American and International Law Young Institute for Transnational Arbitration (CAIL Young ITA) Presents From Arbitration Tribunal to Local Judge: Enforcing Foreign Precautionary Measures in Mexico and Central America

This event will bring together practitioners and judges from several countries in the region to participate in a two-panel discussion on the enforcement of precautionary measures in their respective jurisdictions.
The program will provide attendees with:

• Insight into how the enforcement of international arbitral precautionary measures is approached across different legal systems.
• A meaningful discussion about the differences and their underlying reasons.

The event is scheduled immediately after the ICC Mexican Arbitration Day (October 9, 2025), ensuring strong participation from an international pool of arbitration practitioners and enthusiasts who will already be present in Mexico City. While the event is independent of ICC, this timing is designed to maximize attendance.
