The Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) Presents 24th International Arbitration Congress: Integrity & Arbitration

The Brazilian Arbitration Committee – CBAr invites everyone to the 24th International Arbitration Congress , to be held in Rio de Janeiro from September 17 to 19, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt hotel, with the theme “Integrity and Arbitration”.

In recent years, CBAr Congresses have focused on discussing the main topics of ongoing arbitration in Brazil. In 2023, the theme was “Arbitration and Business Contracts,” and in 2024, “Arbitration and Infrastructure.”

Along the same lines, issues related to integrity and arbitration will be discussed in 2025. The event will address relevant issues such as:

1. Integrity and Discipline of Arbitration Procedure;
2. Integrity and Parties of the Arbitration Proceedings;
3. Integrity and Arbitrators; and
4. Integrity and Contract.

The event will conclude with a special panel, entitled Arbitration Under Attack?, which will invite reflection on the challenges and questions faced by the arbitration system today.

Furthermore, the Congress will feature the traditional Youth Event, which will discuss:

1. Arbitration in the Civil Code Reform Bill (Bill No. 04/2025); and
2. assistants to the Arbitrators and Integrity: secretaries, experts, technical assistants and others.
