This roundtable is part of TAET’s professional development series for early-career arbitration practitioners and students transitioning from academia to practice. The discussion aims to provide junior practitioners and recent graduates with practical guidance on integrating Generative AI into their legal work. Its objectives are to help participants understand not only how to use AI tools effectively for entry-level tasks but also how to navigate the associated professional and ethical challenges. These include maintaining legal standards, distinguishing speed from diligence, and preserving strategic oversight. We intend for the discussion to clarify both opportunities and risks AI presents for junior associates, focusing on practical, real-world applications.
