The American Bar Association International Law Section (ABA ILS) Presents Malabo Protocol: Addressing International and Transnational Crimes within the African Continent

The Malabo Protocol is a mechanism that grants the African Court of Justice jurisdiction to prosecute international and transnational crimes and establishes the African Court on Justice and Human and Peoples’ Rights. This session will explain the Malabo Protocol, discuss obstacles, and examine strategies by African Union legal bodies and civil society to promote accountability and the rule of law.
