NYIAC Presents SIAC Rules & 33rd Vis Moot Problem – A Fireside Chat

March 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Speakers

Shashi K. Dholandas | Co-Managing Partner, Bailey Duquette | Adjunct Professor, Fordham Law | Fordham Vis Moot Coach

Adriana Uson | Director & Head, SIAC Americas

Gretta L. Walters | Partner, Chaffetz Lindsey | Adjunct Professor, NYU Law | NYU Vis Moot Coach

The Program

Join us for a hybrid fireside chat exploring the role of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in relation to this year’s Vis Moot. Shashi K. Dholandas and Gretta L. Walters in conversation with Adriana Uson will discuss distinguishing features of SIAC and its Arbitration Rules, highlighting publicly available Singapore court decisions that inform SIAC practice.

Drawing on insights from an institutional leader and two experienced Vis coaches (and former mooties), this student-focused session will help teams sharpen analysis as they engage with this year’s problem.

Light bites precede the discussion, with a brief networking reception to conclude the evening. Remote participation is available. Please register accordingly.

For additional guidance, please review SIAC Rules at the 2026 Vis Moots.
