Theory and Practice
Founded in 2014, the Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration is a well-established course organized by Roma Tre University School of Law and the Italian Association for Arbitration (AIA), with the support of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), the ICC International Court of Arbitration and ICC Italia, and in cooperation with the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), Consiglio Nazionale Forense (CNF), ArbIt (the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR), Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Chiomenti.

Led by prominent academics, in-house counsel and practitioners, the Certificate spans five days of engaging sessions, practical roundtables, and interactive workshops on international commercial and investment arbitration. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of international arbitration and is designed for both students and practitioners.

The program also includes participation in the University of Roma Tre – UNIDROIT Annual International Arbitration Lecture and in various networking activities.

Participants of the Certificate have access to an extensive set of materials including slides, reading lists, papers, articles and book chapters. At the end of the course, they receive a personalized Certificate of attendance issued by Roma Tre University Law Department.
