The New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and the New York Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArbNY) are pleased to provide further details about the New York Arbitration Week (NYAW) 2025.

Theme.  In a world increasingly defined by change and complexity, the field of international arbitration faces both formidable challenges and exciting opportunities.  That is why this year’s NYAW’s theme will be “Searching for the North Star.”   This theme speaks to our community’s quest for improvement and adaptability within the rapidly evolving landscape of international arbitration.  Parties, practitioners, arbitrators, institutions, and other stakeholders are all searching for the guiding light of the proverbial North Star to steer us through complex issues of today’s world, including those of legitimacy, transparency, diversity, efficiency, and sustainability of international arbitration.
