What are the benefits of NYIAC membership?
- Networking: Membership in NYIAC provides access to a community of the leading international arbitration practitioners.
- Events. NYIAC organizes members-only events to facilitate relationship building in the international arbitration community.
- Membership Directory: All individual members are listed in NYIAC’s online membership directory, available to the public.
- Committee Participation: Members are eligible to participate in NYIAC’s Program Committee.
- CLE and Conferences: Members are entitled to discounts on NYIAC CLE and conference tuition and fees.
Who may join NYIAC?
Individuals who satisfy at least one of our membership criteria:
- Lawyer: A lawyer with a minimum of seven years of experience (from any jurisdiction).
- Full-Time Arbitrator: Independent, International Arbitrator.
- Non-lawyer: Non-lawyer arbitration practitioners with a minimum of seven years of experience who have participated in at least three arbitrations.
- Academic: An academic who has published at least one article in the field of arbitration or comparative law.
- Law Student/Early Career: An arbitration practitioner with less than seven years of experience.
How much does NYIAC Membership cost?
Individual memberships for Lawyers, Full-Time Arbitrators, Non-lawyers and Academics are $400 per year.
Law Student/Early Career Memberships for young arbitration practitioners are $200 per year.
